Like so many people, I was drawn to Victoria for its amazing natural beauty and the depth and variety of its historic and architecturally significant homes and buildings.
My interest in historic buildings began in Kaslo, British
Columbia, where I helped organize and supervise the restoration
of the historic Langham Hotel (circa 1897). With the assistance
of the Provincial Government, as well as restoration specialists
from Fort Steele, we restored the Langham Hotel, giving it
a new life as the Langham Cultural Centre,
and ultimately winning the Heritage Canada Award
for the most significant restoration project in Canada in
1979 (sharing the award of that year with a project in Nova
Scotia).
I moved to Victoria in 1980 and began working on restoring
many of Victoria's heritage homes as a carpenter and cabinet-maker,
and continued this work until 1990 when I became a realtor
and began helping families find their new homes. My experience
as a builder, cabinet-maker, and renovation specialist has
proven to be very helpful to many of my customers over the
past 13 years.
Since 1990 my work has been successful beyond my highest expectations, having received either a Gold, Silver, or Bronze award every year since 1993, and consistently finishing among the top 10 per cent of all active realtors in Victoria for the past 10 years.
I am available seven days a week all year round for my customers,
work diligently and tirelessly for both buyers and sellers,
and am known and respected among both my colleagues and my
customers as a realtor whose conduct is always honest, professional,
thorough, and reliable. I love homes, architecture, people,
life, my family, my job, and this amazing and wonderful city
we all live in!
